Moldentown Cemetery

100S 440W
Cicero Twp., Tipton Co., Indiana

The Molden family burial ground is located two and one-half miles west, northwest of Tipton in Cicero Township. The first burial there was the son of Henry and Sarah Ann (Molden) Kinder. The last was William Simmons, husband of the now Sarah Ann (Molden) Kinder, in 1917.

This cemetery contains a few unreadable headstones and many loose stones, mostly footstones.  My system of numbering rows and stones does not match that of any other. Rows are numbered East to West. Stones North to South.

Just to tidy things up: Josephine wife of John Thomas Molden, after his death, married Everett Henderson. She died in Detroit and is buried at Tetersburg. Probable Burials: David Shupperd's first two wives, Mary (Plake) and Alice (Plake) may be buried here. Betsy (Molden) Tucker - Goodpasture and Amos Molden, children of John T. Molden, may also be buried here.
