This family cemetery was established upon the death of Roma Wilkins, October 25, 1900, on land owned by his grandfather, Dilavan Wilkins. Members of the Wilkins family, relatives and acquaintances have been buried here since. Originally, part of this parcel was set aside for the addition of a church, but one was never established. Today the cemetery is managed by an advisory board and township trustee. Rows are numbered from east to west and stones north to south. Yes, Wilkins is spelled wrong on the sign above. |
